Chicago, Illinois


The Wrigley Building, one of Chicago's most recognizable icons, was sold in September 2011 to a consortium of investors that includes Groupon, Inc,  BDT Capital Partners, and  Zeller Realty Group. The building , which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Michigan-Wacker Historic District, will be rehabilitated for continued retail and office use utilizing the federal historic tax credits.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

   
    Western Electric-Southwestern Bell Distribution House, St. Louis, MO  

Western Electric-Southwestern Bell Telephone Distribution House
St. Louis, Missouri

This former telephone distribution house is undergoing a $75 million rehabilitation for use as a research laboratory. The building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places earlier this year, and MHA is working with Wexford Heritage, LLC to obtain Missouri state and federal historic tax credit certification for the project.

This 35-building post-World War II residential complex is undergoing a $50 million rehabilitation for continued use as affordable housing. MHA is working with Parkway Garden Homes Preservation LLC, an affiliate of Related Apartment Preservation LLC, to list the building on the National Register and complete the federal tax credit application.

Ironton Asset Fund LLC is undertaking a $20 million rehabilitation of the Chittenden & Eastman Building in St. Paul's University-Raymond Commercial Historic District. The building, constructed in 1917 as a furniture showroom and loft building, will be converted to market rate residential housing utilizing state and federal historic tax credits.
