Albert Rex Joins MacRostie Historic Advisors
Published: May 2007
MacRostie Historic Advisors is pleased to announce the addition of Albert Rex as our Boston-based Northeast Affiliate. Albert is well-known and highly-regarded in the Massachusetts historic preservation and real estate development worlds and brings to the firm over a decade of professional experience in advocacy and consulting activities in New England. Albert holds a B.A. from the University of Rhode Island, an M.A. in Historic Preservation from Boston University, and is currently pursuing an MBA from Babson College. From 1998 to 2004 he was Executive Director of the Boston Preservation Alliance where he was a leader in the creation of the Massachusetts Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit program.
Since moving into private practice, Albert has provided consulting services to development teams seeking historic tax credits and has represented clients for Section 106 and Chapter 254 compliance and local landmark review. In combination with colleague Allen Johnson (now Director of our Midwest Office after a long consulting career in the Northeast), Albert’s strategic understanding of the Massachusetts Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit program makes MacRostie Historic Advisors a unique resource in the New England market to assist clients in securing certification for state and federal historic tax credits. |
