JulieAnn Murphy is an associate in the MHA West office in San Jose. JulieAnn’s work includes preparing state and federal historic rehabilitation tax credit applications and National Register nominations.
Prior to joining MacRostie, JulieAnn was an Architectural Historian with MIG, Inc. in Berkeley, CA. She worked on a variety of preservation and planning projects, including the preparation of California Environmental Quality Act cultural resources reports. She also worked in preservation advocacy and education as the Preservation Coordinator with the Lower Merion Conservancy in Pennsylvania.
JulieAnn received her Master’s degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s in History and Sociology from the University of California, Riverside. She also serves as Commissioner on the South San Francisco Planning Commission.
